Numero Uno Estates was incorporated in 2003, and is wholly owned family business run by father and daughter team, Alex and Lisa Nicol. Due to its location in the centre of the Costa Del Sol. Numero Uno Estates are proud to cover the whole region from Nerja to Sotogrande and many of the inland regions of the Guadalhorce Valley.
Alex Nicol has been involved with the buying and selling of property in Spain since the mid 1970´s. His professional background includes investment banking and mergers and aquisitions and since moving to Spain on a full time basis in 2002, he has been more commonly known as "The Property Doctor" hosting radio programs on a number of the coast top stations as well as writing for a number of major magazines. Alex is registered with the IEAA and is fully trained in conducting accurate and valid valuations to TINSA standards.
Lisa Nicol has also been involved in the property market in Spain for around 8 years working with some of the most well known Estates Agents on the coast including Viva Estates, Livingtone Estates and Hiperprop. Lisa´s professional background is sales & marketing and before moving to Spain worked as a senior manager in the sales and marketing department of one of British Airways subsidiares. Lisa is a fully qualified webdesigner and aswell has her role within the family business also runs her own webdesign and marketing company, Number 1 Webdesign.
